Thank God for friends!
If not for them, I think I would still be wallowing in self-pity... I'm really thankful that I have been able to share with them about the impending doom... I mean, yes, the impending lab work...
I feel so much better now. =)
Honestly, I never felt this emotional about something before... not to the extent that I will talk to friends about it... but I guess I still need to find a goal, perhaps a short term one on my part.
But for now, I think I can look forward to running with Lisa!!! Yeah! And apparently, looking at photos of happy times help fight the blues too! Hmm, perhaps I should develop these photos and bring them to lab!

BFF ( I realised this can mean something else too..)

Exams are over... Now, I shall keep my fingers closed for the results.
Honestly, this is the first time that I enjoyed my study break for I don't have to go back to the lab. How happy is that. I don't really enjoy lab work, so time off from lab is certainly appreciated! But nothing worldly last forever, not even diamonds. I'll be heading back to lab soon. Till then enjoy.

There was once a man who got all that he wanted. H is wishes were all granted to him by a lovely angel. The man was never happy despite having his wishes fulfilled. One day, he asked the angel: “Lovely angel, can you truly make me a happy person?”
Like always, the lovely angel granted the man his wish and the man became a truly happy person. So what did the angel give to the man?

Well, the angel did not give the man anything. Instead, the angel took things away from the man; his TV, the computer and the Internet, his mobile, his parents, siblings, friends and all the work that he has to do. So for days, the man did nothing, for there isn’t anything for him to do. And for days the man wished that he had his friends to talk to, his work to do and the TV and the Internet for entertainment.
After three days, the angel returned those things that he took away from the man. The man jumped in joy and told the angel: “Thank you angel. I will treasure these things.” True to his word, the man never take for granted the things that he has and learn to live life cherishing all the things he has, no matter how insignificant these things may seem.

We don’t need a lot of money to be wealthy and happy. We don’t need to own a property at the world’s most exclusive address and eat the most exotic delicacy. We don’t need the most fashionable clothing, accessories to be beautiful. Do not go through life wishing you were richer, or were smarter or had slimmer and longer legs; cherish all that has been granted to you by our Creator.
